3 Cases of Post-Rabies Vaccination Encephalitis

Abstract
|
|
|
We have experienced 3 cases of neurologic complication following antirabies vaccination.
1. One case was encephalitic type and two cases were dorsolumbar type.
2. Onsets of the complications
ranged between 11 to 12 days from the begining of antirabies vaccination.
3. Cortisone therapy was started immediately after each admission with supportive measures and hospital courses were uneventful with satisfactory recoveries.
